Originally a set of twelve zodiac animal miniature paperweights from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or early Republic Period (1912-1949), these have been re-created as zodiac animal cufflinks by Patinova.

The animal figures are a hand-made reproduction of the original with the addition of a push-through stud to turn it into a cufflink.The entire cufflink is solid sterling silver.
